-
From the agreement
Each milestone or recurring period becomes a draft invoice when it falls due.
-
Unbilled time in a click
Add confirmed, billable hours by date range, and each hour is billed once.
-
Automatic reminders
Polite reminders on the days you choose after the due date.
-
Partial payments
Record what came in, and the balance and status update for you.
-
Receipts sent for you
Every recorded payment can issue and email a numbered receipt.
-
Approval before sending
Nothing reaches a client until someone with the right to approve says so.
Create
Invoices that write themselves from the work
Generate invoices from an agreement’s milestones or recurring periods, or build one from scratch with line items, tax and currency. Pull in unbilled time by date range, one line per project and rate.
- Auto-generate due invoices for approval
- Net-7 to Net-45 terms
- Your own numbering format
Collect
Reminders that chase late payers for you
Set a cadence like 1, 7, 14 and 30 days after the due date, and Bitrack sends each reminder once. Reminders pause when a client reports a payment from their portal, so you never chase money that’s on its way.
- Never more than one reminder a day
- Remind every overdue invoice at once
- View tracking on each invoice
Reconcile
Partial payments, receipts and recurring revenue
Record full or partial payments, and the invoice moves to Partially paid or Paid. Receipts have their own number series, and retainer invoices are created each period with your recurring revenue shown at the top.
- Payment reported from the portal
- Void without gaps in your numbers
- Upcoming recurring invoices at a glance

Questions about invoicing
How do clients pay a Bitrack invoice?
By bank transfer for now. Your payment details print on every invoice and show in the client portal. Online card payments aren’t available yet.
Can I keep my current invoice numbering?
Yes. Set your prefix, padding, next number and format, and new invoices carry on from your old series. Numbers are never reused or skipped.
Does Bitrack handle recurring retainer invoices?
Yes. Agreements with a monthly or annual schedule create an invoice each period for approval, and you can pause any one schedule.
Can I record a partial payment?
Yes. Enter the amount, or choose 25%, 50% or the full balance. The invoice shows what’s still due until it’s paid.
Can I bring in invoices from another tool?
Yes. Import past invoices from CSV as history. Imported invoices never get automatic reminders.
